Now that registrations for Cycling SA’s 2018 Super Series are officially open (with early-bird rates until 23 July), we are excited to confirm that the series will again see the penultimate round, to be held on 18 November, located at Sturt Reserve, Murray Bridge.
The first ever Murray Bridge Super Series race was held in 2017, and the result was a fantastically successful and enjoyable event, with over 185 riders taking part in a thrilling contest. Cycling SA would like to thank the generous support of The Rural City of Murray Bridge in hosting the event, which was enjoyed by riders and spectators alike.
In 2018 we are looking forward to again working with The Rural City of Murray Bridge to hold another exhilarating race along the picturesque Murray River, with a scenic backdrop of houseboats and paddle-steamers. The course will use the short circuit to allow for an action-packed, spectator friendly day of racing, with the finish line set up on Murray Cods Drive.
Cycling SA CEO, Lachie Ambrose, is looking forward to returning to Murray Bridge. “Cycling SA are really enthusiastic to be bringing the Super Series back to Murray Bridge this year. The race added a new dimension to the series last year, and we are excited to see what it can deliver later in the year. We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to The Rural City of Murray Bridge, who make the event possible.”
The dates for the 2018 Super Series are now confirmed, running from 22 September until 9 December 2018. Early entries for the series are officially open and will remain open until July 23, after which the prices will revert to non-early rates. To register, go to https://bit.ly/2L5dzOh
