In order to continue women’s racing on the upwards trajectory it has been on for the last few years, Cycling South Australia is proud to announce the creation of a Women’s Development Team for the 2019 Super Series. Successful applicants for the program will get a place on the CSA Women’s Development Team in the Women’s Cat 2 grade for the duration of the 2019 Series, including 6 criteriums, a team time trial, and a road race.

All riders from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply, but successful applicants will express a keenness to develop their racing skills and an openness to learning race craft from one of the best in the business, Jenny Macpherson.

In addition to those awarded places on the Super Series team, these training sessions will be open to any applicant (successful or unsuccessful) who would like to remove some of the mental barriers to entering crit racing and to hone their bike handling skills before diving into a bike race head first.

Riders on the Women’s Development Team will be required to complete training sessions before the beginning of the Series, and will have the opportunity to train together throughout the Series to enhance their riding and racing skills.

Potential applicants should complete this form to express their interest in being considered for the Cycling South Australia 2019 Women’s Development Team.
