The seventh round of the 2019 Super Series will see a return to Sturt Reserve, Murray Bridge for the penultimate day of racing for this year’s Series on Sunday, November 17.
For the third year running, the long circuit criterium hosted by The Rural City of Murray Bridge will see riders race along the picturesque Murray River, with a scenic backdrop of house boats and paddle-steamers.
Cycling SA CEO Lachlan Ambrose commented: “Cycling SA are really enthusiastic to be bringing the Super Series back to Murray Bridge for a third year straight. The race has been embraced by the riders and the community, and we hope to see even more spectators this year. We extend our sincere gratitude to The Rural City of Murray Bridge, who make the event possible.”
Both Elite Men’s and Elite Women’s categories of the race were taken out by SASI riders last year, although with a very close finish in the elite men’s race. It will be interesting to see whether SASI athletes can repeat that feat again this year!
