Cycling SA is over the moon to announce this one: with the help of the City of Unley, we are hosting the final round of the 2019 Super Series at Unley Oval Reserve on Sunday, November 24! Just a stone’s throw from the CBD and with a perfect little grassy knoll overlooking what will be the Finish line, this is a perfect opportunity to bring the family out and spend the day in Unley catching the last races of the 2019 Series.
This brand-new course circumnavigates the reserve, with a tricky chicane thrown in along one side to keep things interesting. At the pointy end of the Series, we’re sure there’ll be some serious racing going on that’ll make for excellent spectating!
Cycling SA CEO, Lachlan Ambrose, is excited about this new race venue and said “As the final round of the series, we expect to see fierce racing on an unfamiliar course, bringing excitement to spectators and riders alike. We would like to extend huge thanks to the City of Unley Council, who have provided enormous support and allowed us to bring this event to fruition.”
Cycling SA would like to take this opportunity to extend an invitation to any businesses or community groups based in the Unley City Council that are keen to be involved in this event to contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
With 7 rounds of this year’s Series announced, it’s down to just one remaining to step into the light. With any luck, we’ll be able to tell you all about it next week!
Round information for the Unley Oval Reserve Criterium will be available on the Cycling Super Series website in the coming weeks.
