We are very excited to announce the return of Cervelo as the major sponsor for this year’s 2022 Cervelo Super Series! Having previously sponsored the Elite Team Series, it feels fantastic to have them on board again as Naming Rights Sponsor for the 2022 Series. Pon.Bike Australia have been instrumental in supporting bike racing at every level here in SA for as long as any of us can remember, and you don’t have to look very far at a crit or road race here in Adelaide to see just how popular the Cervelo brand has become!
Cervelo is a brand synonymous with winning bike races and the current crop of bikes is no different. From the comfy Caledonia to the all-out race machine that is the world-renowned S5, Cervelo’s road bike range is second to none. They’ve even got a monster of a gravel bike in the Aspero that you’re sure to see more of now that gravel has officially busted onto the racing scene!
Managing Director of Pon.Bike APAC, Graeme Moffett, says, “Pon.bike Australia has, since its inception 2011, felt that it is a privilege to support the sport at a local level. Through our brands Cervelo and Focus we have a proud history of supporting NRS teams and events and this year we are extremely proud to be announced as the naming rights sponsor of the 2022 Cervelo Super Series. This year looks to be shaping up with fantastic racing with so many teams and members of the local racing community already committed to the racing across the State.”
Thanks to Cervelo, we’ll also be upping the prizemoney paid in the Elite Grades at the culmination of the 2022 Cervelo Super Series. That means the Series win in both the Elite Men’s and Elite Women’s GC is now worth $1000, with a total of $8400 up for grabs across Individual Series Classifications, GC places and the all-important Teams Classification.
