THE COPPER COAST CUP
Comprising the Wallaroo Road Race and Moonta Criterium, the Copper Coast Cup (or the Race Formerly Known As Hell Of The North!) has long been a fixture on the South Australian racing calendar. Made possible by the Copper Coast Council, this race weekend typically delivers unpredictable finishes in Saturday's road race and fast-paced, tight criterium racing on Sunday.
CLASSIC HITS 5CS WALLAROO ROAD RACE
Saturday, October 19
Now famous on the local racing circuit, the Wallaroo Road Race is atypical for a road race in that it comprises a significant amount of off-road gravel under the wheels. Riders should be prepared for the heightened risk of mechanicals this race brings, especially those who are keen to race the Moonta Criterium the next day.
MAGIC FM MOONTA CRITERIUM
Sunday, October 20
A tight and technical circuit in a regional town, the Moonta Criterium has to be raced to be fully understood. The local community gets behind the event with a carnival-like atmosphere – this is a race you’ve got to do at least once in your career!

FOOD AND DRINK
There's plenty to do (and eat!) while in in the Copper Coast, but our pick is Taste The Yorke in Moonta. They love the Moonta Criterium and host a little mini festival in the closed Moonta roads each year, so make sure you drop in and get a coffee and a bite to eat from them - help support those who support racing!
