ROUND 8: MYPOLONGA

We’ve made some changes to Mypolonga this year, with Super Series racing all day on the Sunday, while Saturday will have Junior racing and Elite State Road Championships. This will make the Elite State Championships smoother, you don’t have to decide whether to ride for your team or for the glory!

Rider Information

Registration / Sign-On

Sign-on located near the Start/Finish or at team tents.

All riders are required to present to sign-on at least 15 minutes before their race start. A $25 fine applies for failing to sign-on as per the Event Manual.

Transponders

Riders must bring an existing RaceResult transponder if they have one. Otherwise, one will be supplied for the duration of the Series. Each rider’s transponder must display the official Series sticker.

Race Numbers

Each rider must wear two numbers: one on the lower back (centre) and one on the left-hand side of the torso.

Results

Provisional Live Results and Official Results will be published on RaceResult. QR codes with direct access will be posted at each event site.

Race Information

Warming Up

Riders are not permitted on the course outside of their designated race. Course practice and warm-ups on the circuit are strictly prohibited. Riders should warm up on rollers/trainers or surrounding roads (where safe and legal).

Feeding

Feeding is permitted for Elite categories only. The Feed Zone will be clearly marked on course and will be open from laps 4 to 7 for Elite Men and laps 4 to 6 for Elite Women. Riders may be handed individual bottles or food items only — no feed bags are allowed.

Team Cars

Team vehicles are not permitted at any of these events. Teams wishing to provide Neutral Spares support within their category may volunteer by contacting the Race Director.

Team Set Up

Team zones will be located adjacent to the Start/Finish line. Marquees and temporary structures must be weighted or pegged securely in line with event staff direction and safety practice.

Spectator Information

Parking

Parking will be available in designated areas around the Mypologna town centre.

Additional parking will be available along surrounding streets and open paddock areas, as signposted.

Please follow event signage and directions from marshals or traffic controllers.

Presentations

Presentations will take place at the podium near the Finish Line immediately after each race.

All placegetters must attend in correct race kit (no hats or sunglasses).

This includes presentations for General Classification leaders and Sprint Classifications.

Food & Drink

Local catering and coffee stalls will be available at the event village.

Additional food and refreshments can be found in Mypologna township.

Toilets

Portable toilets will be provided at the event village and along the Start/Finish zone.

Medical Coverage

First Aid will be provided on site by Royal Flying Doctor Service and Vivien Bing Sports Trainers.
